I'm just done with relinquishing my brain.

I'm capable of original thought. It may not be good or perfect but I can do it. Cute is better than brain dead.

A bare garden

I don't have much structure up yet, no flagstone paths or containment walls. But I've got some pots and seeds of thought. I can start watering them now as I continue to build.

Here are some of my initial thoughts:

• Giving myself reasons to exercise by understanding what fitness actually does to your body
• I dunno, maybe I'll write about some of my philosophy books or something.

I learned how to "write" (agressively copy and paste + tweak) HTML when I was in middle school. I made my own websites on a similar service to neocities called Angelfire. As in angel, a person with wings, not angle... don't make the same mistake my 12 y.o. self did. Anyways, I love neocities because of the same tacky tiled background and scintillating gifs from days of yore. I hate that websites these days are so digestible and I hate even more the anger I feel when a service changes their design and I suddenly can't digest it as quickly. It's like the point is to get in and get out as quickly as possible. I miss... bad websites.

anyways, my favorite website had a glittery blue dragon gif. I don't know where to find stuff like that anymore. I tried searching and saw a bunch of AI fart. It looked something like this.

In case this isn't obvious, yes I'm doing the neocities tutorial. I dunno... I wanted to jump to just copying and pasting HTML but it's actually kinda nice to slow down.
